Woke up yesterday morning to find that our cell phones (and the hot spots in the cell phones that supply our computers with internet) had no signal. The AT&T main tower in Franklin was down. Jan and I biked from Belmar down to Fisherman's Cove and back. She hadn't been that way before. Since Candy and I didn't get out on Monday (raining) we biked today. We went on the bike trail from Belmar to Fisherman's Cove and then past there a couple more miles on the dirt road to the covered bridge near New Route 8. Today feels like the first authentic day of spring. The birds are all singing loudly and it was nice and warm - in the 70's. The spring peepers are doing their thing. We did take the tent down this afternoon. Gabe helped me. I had a bad coughing spell while we were doing it though. I think the hemlock trees overhead let go of their pollen lately and it was all over the tent - when we were wresting with the tent the dust was stirred up.
